The University of Antwerp attaches great importance to the protection of your personal privacy. Most of the information is available without you having to provide any personal data. In some cases you will be asked for personal information. Your data will then be handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on May 24, 2016 with effect from May 25, 2018.

The University of Antwerp guarantees that personal data will only be collected and processed to provide the requested information or to provide the desired services. The processing of personal data is limited to the desired purpose. The personal data will not be disclosed to third parties and will not be used for direct marketing, unless you have given your consent via ‘opt in’. The University of Antwerp takes the best possible security measurements to prevent third parties from misusing your personal data.
