Dragon Boat Festival
Row along with the 10th edition of the Dragon Boat Festival!
An open canoe in all sorts of gaudy colors, in front the head of a dragon with a tail at the back. The drummer sets the rhythm at which rowers put the paddles in the water, the helmsman indicates the course.
The location is special as well, the Kattendijk dock being exempted for this unique event. Passersby watch this striking scene with interest.

There will be at least 3 sailings. Choose whether you want to join them all or prefer to row only once.
The proceeds go to charity. Thomas homes are places where people with intellectual disabilities live together in a more homelike setting. They are pulled away from large institutions where they feel often out of place. In those homes they are given the personal care, love and attention they deserve and need.
