MOVE BECOMES SPORTSTICKER+
Starting July 1, 2024, your MOVE card will be called Sportsticker+. And yes, this brings benefits for you. With the new name comes an expanded sports offer.
What does Sportsticker+ stand for?
The sports card for students, staff and alumni* of the University of Antwerp and AP University College.
- You have access to the entire sports offer, from weekly yoga classes and basketball training to swimming lessons and introduction sessions.
- You can participate in sports activities at various locations in Antwerp, close to or further from home.
- You can rent sports halls and squash courts, free or at a reduced rate.
- You can swim for free once at an Antwerp swimming pool of your choice.
- Your sports card is valid for the entire academic year (from 1/7/2024 to 30/6/2025), including exam periods and holidays.
For you as a student:

Why Sportsticker+ instead of MOVE?
Starting July 1, 2024, the MOVE sports card will be called Sportsticker+. This name change means that all students and staff in Antwerp will have the same sports card. This brings several advantages:
- More clarity: a uniform name reduces confusion and simplifies communication.
- Easier access to facilities: with one recognizable sports card, students and staff can more easily use sports facilities and services throughout the city.
- An upgrade of the sports offer: even more sports activities and an enhancement of quality.
FAQs
What exactly changes for me?
Initially, only the name changes. Starting July 1, 2024, you can find all the information on the Sportsticker (communication) channels. The familiar sports offer remains the same, but we are working on expanding and enhancing the quality.
Where can I find all the information about the sports offer?
You can find all the information about our sports offerings in various places:
- Website: for group classes, training sessions and sports partners, you can check the “recreational sports offer“. For all competitions at different levels, look under “competitions“.
- Social media: follow us on social media for the latest updates, events and announcements.
- App: in our app, which you can find in the Apple App store or Google Play store, you can view the different group classes and training sessions under the “Schedule” in a convenient overview. This is the fastest way to stay up-to-date on the complete sports offerings and schedule.
Do I need to do anything to get the new Sportsticker+?
No, you don’t need to do anything. The transition to Sportsticker+ will happen automatically. You can continue using your current card until June 30, 2024, after which you will be able to purchase the new Sportsticker+.
What are the benefits of the new Sportsticker+?
The benefits include more clarity, easier access to facilities, a lager community, better collaborations with sports clubs, and an upgrade of the sports offer with more activities and improved quality.
Does the price change with the name change?
No, for students, the price of the sports card remains the same. However, to improve the quality of our services and further expand of our offerings, there will be a price increase for staff and alumni*.
